Description
An invigorating, balanced and smooth wine, with intense aromas of elderberry flowers, white
fruits, citruses, with a balanced acidity.
- Appearance: Pale – straw yellow, with green shades.
- Smell: Elderberry flowers’ flavors.
- Taste: Fresh and harmonious with a balanced and pleasant acidity, intense taste of elderberry flowers, well ripened peaches.
- Serving: at a temperature of 8 -10 C degrees, along with fresh cheeses, appetizers, raw salads, seafood or fish.
- Type of grapes: Saugvinon Blanc.
- Type of wine: White, dry, DOC – CMD Dealu Mare.
- Vol. Alc.: 13,7%.
- Area production: Dealu Mare –Valea Calugaresca Vineyard.
- Region: Piedmont, calcareous area with southern exposure/orientation. Elevation 300 m.
- Winemaking: Grapes were manually harvested, in small crates and carefully selected, destemmed and left to cryo maceration in stainless steel tanks for 2 hours. The must resulting from leakage-pressing was gravitationally cleared.
- The controlled fermentation took place at a temperature of 14-16 ̊C. After the alcoholic fermentation has been completed, the wine has been stabilized, conditioned and bottled.
